The Lindsay Chorale returned to the Montalto Estate on 21st & 22nd December 2019. They sang a variety of Christmas music and carols while guests enjoyed a festive afternoon tea in the beautifully decorated Carriage Rooms. It was an uplifting finish to the Chorale’s 2019 engagements. Special thanks again to Sheelagh Greer for her superb musical directorship and to Darren Day for providing piano accompaniment.

Dr. David Steers to Ballee Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church where Rev. Brian Moodie gave the address. Then on 27th October the Chorale sang at Tyrella Parish Church where the sermon was given by The Rev. Julie Bell.
Accompanied on both occasions by Darren Day, and directed by Sheelagh Greer, the Chorale sang several pieces including A Thanksgiving Hymn and For the Beauty of the Earth. The Chorale were grateful for the kind hospitality and refreshments provided after each service.

The Lindsay Chorale were thrilled to be asked to provide the music for the wedding service of Amy- Rachel Lindsay to Marcus Mawhinney at St. Colmcille’s, Holywood. Amy- Rachel is a relative of the late Tom Lindsay, the founder of the Chorale, so it was a meaningful service for everyone. The Chorale sang a range of sacred pieces, including Cantique de Jean Racine by Faure, and John Rutter’s Clare Benediction.
Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Mawhinney on your Big Day!
